Magellan
Ferdinand Magellan led the first circumnavigation of the world in 1522 described as "the greatest sea voyage in the Age of Discovery". It was a simple goal, and an inspiring lesson in tenacity.
The TriForce Magellan challenge isn’t complex, but it is all about overcoming a lot of different components of fitness with two movements, in 11 minutes.
Your grip strength, hip to shoulder connection, whole body coordination, aerobic cardio, anaerobic stamina, overhead stability, triple extension efficiency, posterior chain power, control under fatigue.
These are all vitally important aspects of good health and fitness that the Magellan challenge will help you develop, no matter what your fitness level is right now, it’s about to level up.

Rest - 5:00 - 6:00
Part 2 - 6:00 - 11:00 - Two handed swing
You have 5 minutes to complete as many two handed swings reps as possible.
You can put the kettlebell down at any time but you are on the clock trying to get as many reps as possible with good form.
Movement standards
Snatch
You must lift the kettlebell from the floor for the first rep. All snatch lifts must start with the kettlebell below your hips and be performed with a proper hip hinge pattern. The kettlebell must be pulled overhead to lock out without a press/push motion. The snatch should be one motion from below the hips to above the head. Reps count when the arm is locked out in line with your ear, above your head, with your hips and knees locked out and your feet are not moving. You can rest anytime you want with the kettlebell on the floor, but you can only swap hands once in the 5 minute time limit.
Two handed swing
Kettlebells must start on the floor at the beginning of the challenge. Swing the kettlebell with a two handed grip for all reps. The reps must start with the kettlebell below your hips and be performed with a proper hip hinge pattern. The kettlebell must be lifted with straight arms to above chest height, with your hips and knees locked out at the top of the rep with your feet stationary for the reps to count. You can rest anytime you want with the kettlebell on the floor.
